Teaching & Learning
Year 3 and 4 Teacher Network
Overview
To support Year 3 and Year 4 teachers in strengthening curriculum design, teaching and learning, inclusion, and pupil achievement through a clear focus on progression, high-quality pedagogical approaches, and responsive practice. We will look at developing a coherent and ambitious curriculum that builds on prior learning, refining teaching strategies to maximise pupil engagement and understanding, and ensuring inclusive practice meets the diverse needs of all learners. The network will also focus on the use of assessment to inform teaching, the identification and removal of barriers to learning, and the sharing of effective approaches to raise outcomes and secure strong progress for all pupils.
