Overview

We will look at the writing framework and explore a range of suggested scaffolds and supports that can be used across a range of settings to scaffold and support writing. We will look at how you develop children’s writing from word level to sentence level and then into paragraphs and extended pieces of writing linked to genre.

Our Aims

· To develop understanding of suggested strategies within the writing framework.

· To equip staff with a range of supports and scaffolds to ensure all children are successful in writing tasks.

Louise Templeton
Primary Improvement Partner

Louise is a qualified teacher who has taught across all primary phases with more than 20 years’ experience, in a range of contexts. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership. Louise is a serving Executive Headteacher and Primary Improvement Partner with extensive senior leadership, teaching and learning, curriculum development and school improvement experience. She has provided temporary leadership support for schools facing challenging circumstances.
