Overview
This training focuses on the strategic leadership of personal development across the curriculum and wider school life. It explores embedding civic and character education, raising aspirations, and enriching learning through meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom. Participants will share innovative practices, strengthen approaches to student voice, and refine quality assurance processes to ensure measurable impact. The session aims to equip leaders with the tools to create inclusive, progressive provision that builds resilience, broadens horizons, and prepares students for life beyond school.

Amanda Jackson
Leader of Children's Futures
Amanda Jackson is the Leader of Children's Futures at Advance Learning Partnership, overseeing personal development, careers, civic engagement, attendance and safeguarding. With over a decade of experience at Whitworth Park Academy in roles such as Assistant Headteacher, Head of Year and Subject Leader for PSHE Amanda is dedicated to professional development. She has completed various courses on RSHE, PSHE, Careers, Safeguarding, Attendance and Citizenship since 2017 and holds an NPQ in Senior Leadership alongside master's level modules in careers, achieving Level 7. Passionate about improving outcomes for young people, she now works full-time supporting schools across the trust.
