Leading Inclusion: Improving Outcomes, Behaviour and Belonging for Disadvantaged Learners

Overview

This three-session programme supports senior and middle leaders in developing inclusive strategies that improve outcomes for disadvantaged students in secondary schools. Combining evidence-informed leadership with practical school improvement approaches, the course explores how inclusive culture, high expectations and consistent behaviour systems can raise achievement, strengthen attitudes to learning and improve belonging. Leaders will examine barriers faced by disadvantaged learners, evaluate the impact of current systems and develop strategies to improve teaching, behaviour, attendance and engagement. The programme culminates in participants creating a sustainable inclusion action plan tailored to their department or whole-school context.
