English Primary Subject Leader Network
Overview
To support English subject leaders with the development and implementation of their strategic plans in light of the refocusing of the Primary English curriculum using the following the publications – The Writing Framework, Ofsted subject review for English, EEF guidance reports and new Ofsted framework. We will use these documents to ensure that subject leaders are confident in using current evidence and research to underpin their decision making and strategic direction of their subject in school.
Our Aims
· To equip English subject leaders with up-to-date research, professional development opportunities, and high-quality resources that strengthen their strategic leadership and enable them to drive improvement and challenge practice within their subject.

Louise Templeton
Primary Improvement Partner
Louise is a qualified teacher who has taught across all primary phases with more than 20 years’ experience, in a range of contexts. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership. Louise is a serving Executive Headteacher and Primary Improvement Partner with extensive senior leadership, teaching and learning, curriculum development and school improvement experience. She has provided temporary leadership support for schools facing challenging circumstances.
