Stepping into Deputy Headship is one of the most significant transitions in a school leader’s career. This programme has been carefully designed to support aspiring and newly appointed Deputy Headteachers to thrive in this pivotal role, equipping them with the confidence, clarity and strategic insight needed to lead whole-school improvement.

Led by an experienced Headteacher and system leader within the Advance Learning Partnership, this course provides a unique opportunity to engage in high-quality professional dialogue, reflect on leadership practice, and develop the knowledge and behaviours required of effective Deputy Headteachers across both primary and secondary settings.
