AI Annual Conference
Overview
Join us for a forward-thinking teaching conference centred on Digital Technology / AI, with a clear focus on digital inclusion. This event is designed to support educators in exploring how artificial intelligence can be used not just effectively, but equitably to ensure that all learners benefit from its potential. Sessions will be shaped around the three pillars of our ALP AI strategy: professional learning, pedagogical practice, and creativity and innovation.
Throughout the day, colleagues will engage with practical approaches to using AI to enhance teaching, support more personalised learning, and reduce workload in a sustainable way. Whether you are new to AI or already developing your practice, the conference will offer a balance of hands-on strategies, real examples from classrooms, and opportunities to reflect on what works. Above all, the focus remains on using AI to strengthen what matters most: high-quality teaching and meaningful pupil engagement.
Guest Speakers
Dr Cristina Costa, Associate Professor, Co-Director (MA in Research Methods) , Durham University
Jake Burdis, Assistant Professor (Education) | ITT Partnership Director, Durham University
