Digital Technology

AI Development Team

Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform education and the wider world. This programme aims to build a confident, ethical, and sustainable digital culture across our school community. Through high-quality professional learning, evidence-informed pedagogical practice, and a focus on creativity and innovation, we will empower staff and pupils to use AI purposefully to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency. By developing the skills, understanding, and confidence to use AI effectively, we will create more personalised, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences while ensuring children remain at the centre of all innovation.

Our Aims

  • Professional learning that builds confidence and capability.
Developing staff and leadership to understand AI through practical training, collaboration, and ethical guidance. Staff will build confidence in using AI tools effectively to enhance teaching, improve efficiency and support continuous professional growth.
  • Strengthening pedagogical practice through intelligent technology.
Using AI to support personalised learning, adaptive feedback, inclusive classroom practice and responsive assessment. Staff will use intelligent technologies to improve engagement, enhance outcomes, and provide meaningful learning experiences tailored to pupil needs.
  • Fostering creativity and innovation across the curriculum.
Encouraging staff and pupils to explore creative and innovative uses of AI that develop curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and digital readiness for the future.
